Northwich has seen considerable investment over the last few years and is now seen has a desirable place to live, work and visit. Northwich Town Council provides a range of services including cemeteries, play areas, open spaces and a paddling pool for residents and visitors alike to visit and enjoy.

The Town Council currently has two vacancies for Grounds Maintenance Operatives which are full time posts (37 hours) to be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the Council.

The successful candidates will be expected to work in a small team delivering high quality services within the Council’s parks, cemeteries and open spaces. Some weekend and evening work will be required during busy periods.

It is desirable that the successful candidates will hold a full driving license, horticultural qualification, working in formal parks and also some hard landscaping experience.

Starting salary is in the region of SCP 4 (£18,426) depending on experience.
