Christmas Lights, St Helen’s Church and Town Bridge

By January 14, 2021Uncategorized

All Christmas lights have  now been removed along with the trees and lighting to the bridge, we are now working towards a permanent solution for the lighting of Town Bridge and hope to complete this very soon.

We have had a really positive response to all the Christmas lights in the town centre this year, so many thanks to our installers who were out throughout the night erecting them and now taking them down for storage.

Children from local primary schools also made lanterns as part of their Christmas project.  As these couldn’t be used for the parade leading up to the usual light switch on, they were proudly displayed in Barons Quay and looked quite fantastic.  Well done for all their efforts.

St. Helen’s Church looked particularly beautiful during the Christmas period, with a large bright Christmas star being projected onto the exterior of the building which was much admired.
